‘Osuwa-sama’ inside the grounds of Hotaka shrine in Kimura district of Oigami is the god protecting agricultural crops from wind. This festival is held in late August on an annual basis praying for refreshing breeze.
Folk entertainment performance as well as activities experiencing trout hand catching and wood crafts are held. At night time, over 2,800 fireworks vibrantly brighten up the night sky in summer.
